STOP PRESS - We are proud to announce we have opened a new pick up point! Wonderful Forts Cafe, on Cliff Terrace, who already use our produce in their delicious meals is one of our new pick up points, serving the Cliftonville/East Margate area. Go to our "join our box scheme" page to get involved, or pop down to Forts Cafe to ask them more about it.

We are looking for a few more customers in order to launch the new pick up point at the Garden Centre in Station Road, Westgate-on-Sea. If you have been wondering about joining a veg box scheme and you live in the Westgate/Birchington area, why not come and join us? Go to the "join our box scheme" page and fill in our easy to use form to get started.

The hosepipe ban is upon us and therefore we've been enjoying plenty of April showers! If you are already a customer, you can look forward to lots more delicious vegetables, grown without chemicals on our plot in Margate and supplemented by produce from British organic farms. If you are not already a customer, why not sign up for a month's trial? We support you with recipes and information about the more unusual vegetables and you will be supporting a local not for profit project and enjoying a shopping experience with soul, as you pick your bags up from a friendly community venue close to your home. We have 6 public pick up points at present - if you would like to see a pick up point somewhere else, e-mail me at vegbox@surestartmillmead.org.uk and we will see what we can do!

Our Spring Event took place at the Community Allotment Plot, on the corner of Dane Valley Road in Margate on Saturday 31st March.
